Important Notices

In this first edition, we have secured gyms and sports centres for overnight stays, which means that TENTS ARE NOT NECESSARY.

The organisers will provide food for the 3 days of the pilgrimage:

Friday lunch and dinner

Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Sunday breakfast and lunch

Water and fruit along the way

What to Bring

Shoes

  • Comfortable and sturdy footwear (do not bring new trainers).

  • Optional: moisturising cream, Vaseline, etc.

Sleeping equipment

  • Sleeping bag

  • Mattress.

Small rucksacks (to be used for walking)

  • Energy bars, dried fruit, etc.

  • Raincoat

  • Warm jacket

  • Deep plate, cutlery, cup/mug.

  • Water bottle

  • Toilet paper.

  • Hat and sunscreen.

  • Medication for headaches or muscle pain.

  • Documentation (and European health card)

  • Rosary.

Large rucksack (will be carried by the organisation from one camp to another)

  • Extra footwear for the camp.

  • Extra clothes (don't overdo it).

  • Toiletries, bath towels and swimwear.

  • Torch.

  • First aid kit (nurses will only attend to serious cases).

Recommendations

Recommendations before the pilgrimage

  • Practise walking in the days leading up to the pilgrimage.

Recommendations during the pilgrimage

  • Follow the instructions of the logistics teams.

  • Stay with the group.

  • Keep up with the pace of the pilgrimage.

  • Notify someone if you feel seriously unwell.
